C. M. Corky Watts, CMB:
Mr.
Watts has over 35 years in the mortgage banking industry with senior
management positions in capital markets, production and operations. He
has started and operated mortgage banking companies and has also worked
in mortgage technology, developing one of the first mortgage web sites.
He has written numerous articles, spoken at industry events and held
leadership positions in the Mortgage Bankers Association and California
Mortgage Bankers Association. Mr. Watts holds the Certified Mortgage
Bankers designation.
Joe Garrett:
Mr.
Garrett has 30 years in the mortgage banking industry, half of which
was as CEO & President of FDIC insured banks. He has extensive
knowledge originating and selling mortgage loans within a regulated
environment and understands how to operate in strict compliance with
regulations. Mr. Garrett is a frequent writer for the mortgage
industry, speaks often at industry gatherings and has taught Real Estate
Finance at the University of California at Berkeley.
